Dragons on the Hudson - August 3 & 4, 2012
The Empire Dragon Boat, Breast Cancer Survivor (BCS) Team of New York City is proud to partner with the City of Peekskill's Dragons on the Hudson and Peekskill Celebration in sponsoring a festival that highlights dragon boat racing for BCS and community teams. Empire's mission is to spread awareness of the sport and its benefits to women who have battled cancer. Our team is committed to raising funds for cancer research and direct service to cancer patients.
2012 marks the YEAR OF THE DRAGON so come celebrate with us - we look forward to an inspiring, intimate and exciting weekend of networking and Dragon Boat festivities for BCS Teams! Peekskill Celebration will be hosting a weekend full of events, which will begin on Friday evening, August 3rd featuring live music and a Paddle Party along the river.
The Dragon Boat Festival on Saturday, August 4th will include at least three races for all BCS Teams as well as many activities and an evening of spectacular fireworks along the scenic Hudson River.

*Please note registration may be completed by visiting the Peekskill Celebration site. The Registration Fee includes admission to the Paddle Party on Friday evening, August 3rd for the entire registered team. Hotel accommodation information will also be available via the website.
We hope you’ll join us at the Riverfront Green Park in Peekskill, New York located just 40 minutes north of New York City. The festival site is easily accessible from Grand Central Terminal via MTA Metro North Railroad - Hudson Line.
